And their facial expressions, along with their intense personalities, only add to that terror.

Wataru Kuon deceived and betrayed everyone in Team Z. He practically stepped over his teammates to advance in Blue Lock. And while this showed his total failure to believe in himself as well as his teammates, it also revealed that he could virtually go to any lengths, no matter how corrupt, to stand with the winners.

Kuon also managed to hide his true self from everyone for a lengthy period, which can only mean that he planned to be deceptive and shady from the beginning. It is a good thing that Isagi noticed his creepy smile at the right moment, or he would've gotten away with it all.

From his unusual words to his extremely frightening expressions, Jinpachi Ego definitely looks like an incredibly unique but incredibly creepy individual. His name is enough to scare most players in the totality of Blue Lock.
Ego is utterly cruel and exceptionally obsessive. He is not scared of using extreme tactics to influence the behavior of his "Diamonds in the rough," and the fact that he is brutally cold and rarely shows any emotion only adds more to his dread. He also just comes out and deploys the most brutal truth bombs, no matter who he is talking to, which only makes him more fascinating, complex, as well as creepy.
