Don’t Panic—AO3 isn’t shutting down (2024)

Due to recent confusion, the OTW would like to clarify that AO3 is NOT in any immediate danger. We do need your help to keep the OTW and its projects going, but we're currently in a strong position because of the generosity of our members and other donors.

We appreciate the efforts of everyone who has tried to get the word out about our current membership drive. If you encounter any misinformation about the October drive or the OTW in general, we ask that you respond civilly.
