DREAMGIRL 2 Film Review Loved watching this movie. I was super excited to watch it the time when I saw the first trailer in 2022, since then I was counting days as to when it will be released. I including the entire audience in the hall laughed out their kidneys while this movie. All the characters acted so well and the dialogues were made in such a way that it had made us laugh like anything. Ayushmann you rock, i was i am and i will be fan of your songs and acting skills. 5 stars for the entire team hats off to everyoneSep 01, 202305:15GUNS AND GULAABS Film Review Stupendous - one of the very best desi crime drama comedies that I've seen! Superb acting performances (of note - Aatmaram and of course Rajkumar, who as usual was brilliant). What struck me (one of many things) is the work they put in detailing and recreating those 90s vibe (those who've lived that will know) - of course we saw our then favourite moped Luna, Yezdi motorbike, Bajaj and Priya scooters but also LML Vespa (reminded me of my late Mamaji's). The direction, screenplay, background score editing, casting (RIP S Kaushik) - everything was good. Ps: Can't fathom why this has got only an aggregate Google review rating of 3.8 (at the time of writing this) - this gotta be at least 4.9 (if not 5.0!)Aug 31, 202306:11GADAR 2 Film Review Best film ever I have watched... What an amazing film. The storyline is the life of this film as it felt so real and natural. Pankaj tripathi gave his absolute best, and so did the other actors with such realistic expressions. The only problem was censor board. The first half felt super engaging and amazing, but the 2nd half felt like something was missing. Akshay had a very few scenes but still was good enough. Omg, part 1 is still no 1 for me, and I watched both these movies in cinema, but still considering bollywood movies made today, this actually felt a lot better and had a huge impact on me. This film is super engaging it won't let you feel bored even for for a second while still maintaing a normal pace. A must watch 4.9 /5 ( PS - I just wish they release the director's cut or the original storyline which was meant to take place without any cuts whenever it gets released on OTT). Onchi onchi wadi is the best song and has such an emotional and devotional feel to it and I have selected it as my caller tune. Most action movies that come out these days have the same plot of "saving the world" from a threat like a bomb or disease or whatever and most of it is predictable and lame. But this movie however, keeps you strapped to your chair to know what happens next. They really did an amazing job with it, the stunts, as you already know done by Tom Cruise were crazy and daring but top notch nonetheless, the cinematography, the screenplay, the visual effects, and the story, everything was done right. The whole movie covers the action, adventure and thriller sequence brilliantly. This film was so interesting, it literally grows live emotions within the audience. The message it gives is very clearly presented. Every scene is purely logical and meaningful. You will find happiness, comedy, romance and also emotional experienced. It is not only a perfect Kartik-Kiara film, but their best. The acting each one of them did, was of the next level. I loved the role of dad played by Gajraj Rao. It was just amazing. I highly recommend you to watch this film. It has shown the truth that, how ISIS planned to create human supply chain from Kerala using the "Hindu Secular Communist" mindset applying Love Jihad as a tool. I believe people irrespective of religions must watch this movie if he or she really hates ISIS ideology by heart. And lastly, I must acknowledge, this movie is an artistic master piece created by another Bengali Director Sudipto Sen. Proud for him. For me, best scene was Communist parents were crying in front of the dead body of their daughter and behind the wall, a big picture of Lenin and Marx is hanging. UNDERCOVER Film Review Apart from amazing acting from the actors the film lacked direction and plot. When i started watching it I felt it would be bit same as family man . But here even though the concept is good the execution is terrible, without proper training she successfully diffused the bomb, it seemed like they were pushing the idea of feminism instead of showing female characters with strong storyline and I found it most stupid when the CM let Durga fight with the serial killer alone in some Bollywood cliché fight sequence. The special force was a joke , that had the technology to make contact lens like a computer but can't remove the filter from the video. And without any concrete proof Durga in front of CM accused the villian as serial killer. Kudos to whoever has put together this team. It's just unimaginable that all these (young/unheard) people have bought together a piece of cinema of this quality. It’s not a thriller but will put you on the edge of your seat, it is not a love story but will make you fall in love with the characters. It’s a PROPER Telugu commercial movie (that we all know and grew up with) that exactly has a realistic Tamil movie flavor. I personally have never seen such a combo. And then Farhad Samji happened to the genre, and his filmography is what the genre exactly shouldn’t be. They expanded on the story, world building, fighting techniques, Etc it was just so phenomenal. Their underworld system of coins and assassins were more explored in this Chapter including the introduction of “The Blood Oath Marker” and how it works. It was awesome to see Laurence Fishburne in this film too and it was like a Matrix reunion between Keanu and him. His character fit so well in the storyline. It’s something about Chapter 2 that makes it my favorite Chapter out of all 3 that I just can’t put my finger on. This is exactly how you do a sequel! Amazing Cinematography, Choreography, Soundtrack, and you can’t forget about the ending scene when Wick is Excommunicado! The ending is what got me hooked for sure!!! He is incredible in this movie and carries it, past most of the plot holes and ridiculousness. After finishing it I instantly went online to see if there was another movie but found out this just came out, which tells me I either really liked the movie or his performance. The villain is actually pretty good, and the master plot had me hooked to the end. Of course there were some corny parts in between but really, some super unbelievele things, but beyond those this felt like an intense thriller version of 007 skyfall. While the emphasis on cultural variety was rather new to me, the supplied knowledge provided a fantastic kickstart into the intricacies of the topic at hand. The show’s impressiveness and entertaining features make it an absolute must-see as it isn’t something that should be missed either. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind rewatching it over a period of time because the show would never wear me out. From directors to actors to every single person who contributed to making the show what it is today, has done an excellent job. Its an awesome webseries with brilliant acting and a strong plot. Rana is definitely good and suited the character v well but it's Venkatesh Daggubati who steals the show.
