This Vietnamese restaurant is one of the best culinary experience in Utrecht. The food is delicate and tasty! The place is very well decorated and the service is also nice with a precise timing and kind waitresses.I strongly recommend this restaurant!

It was disappointing that the menu is different than the one at Mariastraat (Kimmade street food). Kimmade Food Village does not have that many options on the menu. The service is okay. It took some time for the drinks but the food came fast. The new decoration of the interior is interesting. I just miss a little bit of the old authentic vibe.

Not the best Vietnamese eetplaces in the area, but they do are convience in Utrecht. While the food is pretty much the same for the smaller Kimmade and this one, the "Village" is right located at the canals. So nice location and nice view. The inside of the restaurant is also nicely decorated. Little bit dark and shady, but that's their style. The food is decent. The Pho soup base is not as tasty as some other places (in Amsterdam or Rotterdam), but it's not bad.I tried the grilled sea bream for the first time. Not what I was expecting, since I pictured a whole grilled fish on my plate. But they have it in a few pieces, which in my opinion was not worth the price. Taste is not bad though, but not alright for almost 20 euros.

Reviews

Kimmade Vietnamese Food Village offers a mix of opinions from visitors. While some appreciate the delicate and tasty food, friendly service, and interesting interior decor, others find the menu lacking in options or authenticity. The location by the canals is highlighted as a nice touch, although some feel that certain dishes are not worth their price. Had an absolutely delightful experience at Kimmade Food Village! With a possible trip to Vietnam on the horizon, my girlfriend and I thought it best to acquaint our palates with authentic Vietnamese food, and Kimmade did not disappoint. The highlight of our visit was undeniably the quality of the fresh ingredients used in every dish we ordered. Each bite was very nice, and some nice care was put into the food preparation. It felt like a preview of what's to come in our Vietnam adventure. For anyone looking to explore Vietnamese cuisine, Kimmade Food Village is a must-visit. Can't wait to come back!

Every person of my (4 people) group loved the food here! We followed the tips of getting a starter, which we don’t normally do, because vietnamese food tends to be a lot lighter to digest—we were able to eat a lot more of this amazing menu! The hosts/servers were so kind. And for us the perfect amount of contact; they take your order, answer a question, but they don’t bother you whilst you are eating with “asking if everything is alright?”. Which we love!
