A few moments ago, I finished the first step in a massive, all-consuming, even somewhat addictive project creating over 200 reviews of what I've identified as the best secular programs to support learning at home. So far, I've categorized most reviews by grade and subject area. There's some really wonderful choices here, whether you're homeschooling or looking to round out your child's education, or dive into a special interest. I hope you'll take a peek and find something you like here! https://lnkd.in/gkW5AMuK And thanks as always to VELA Education Fund for making this research and writing possible.

❓Hey educators, what are your thoughts on addictive educational games? 👇 Sometimes parents ask me if I can find them educational games that are as addictive as non-educational video games, as a kind of solution to screen addiction. Coolmath Games would certainly be on such platform. Since 1997, this platform has revolutionized math education by making it fun and interactive. From iconic games like "Fireboy and Watergirl" to the "Run" series, Cool Math Games has captivated millions, blending entertainment with cognitive challenges. In my in-depth review, I explore the real pros and cons of these highly addictive educational games (and Cool Math Games in particular). Is it the perfect tool for your child, or are there hidden pitfalls? Are these games just what your child needs to love learning, or should you be cautious?❤️ A special request: In my next stage of Modulo, I'm trying to involve the community more in the blogs. . If you could head over to the link, scroll all the way down to the comments section and share your thoughts and questions about Cool Math Games and addictive educational games in general, it would mean a ton to me. All you have to do is scroll to the bottom of the review to share your thoughts.
