When you think of November, you think of Thanksgiving and, of course, turkey. This Thanksgiving, Americans will consume some 46 million birds! Our bay is full of lobsters all the summer and affordeth variety of other fish; in September we can take a hogshead of eels in a night with small labor, and can dig them out of their beds all the winter. We have mussels… at our doors. Oysters we have none near, but we can have them brought by the Indians…

2020 Reflects the Long First Thanksgiving

If you’re traveling for Thanksgiving or have guests traveling to you, chances are that you will have plenty of time to test out some seafood and lobster appetizers before the big meal.
