For when spring has finally sprung, our Flower Bomb co*cktail recipe will be your go-to drink. It’s super simple to make, and—if we do say so ourselves—really rather delicious.
37.5ml pink gin 20ml rose syrup 25ml lime juice 20ml pink grapefruit juice 12.5ml crème de violette Garnish: sprig of mint, one raspberry
Method
1. Fill a wine glass about half way up with cubed ice. 2. Add all of the ingredients to a Boston shaker with cubed ice and shake until the tin frosts over. 3. Strain into the glass and garnish with a spring of mint and a raspberry.
Add Flower Bomb to nutrient solution at 3ml per litre in re-circulating systems or 5ml per litre in run-to-waste gardens (eg soil and coco pots). Use in weeks 4 and 5 of the 12/12 flowering period. Flower Bomb can also be used earlier to control the height of taller plants.

In a bowl, mix together 1 cup of seeds with 5 cups of compost and 2-3 cups of clay powder (you could use clay soil instead if you have it). Slowly mix in water with your hands until everything sticks together. Roll the mixture into firm balls. Leave the balls to dry in a sunny spot.

Flower Bomb is for use 2 weeks out of the flowering cycle. This could be weeks 4 and 5 or 3 and 7. For short flowering plants (eg 7 -9 weeks) dose at a rate of 1ml per litre (do not exceed 3ml/L). Longer flowering plants (eg 12 – 14 weeks) can have a higher dose of 2ml per litre.
