Sound.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today departing low located over central BC
interior.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today building ridge located over Bowie.
By 5:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday ridge located on a line north-south
over Hecate Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued3:45 AM PDT 11 June 2024 A low pressure system over Queen Charlotte Sound will move across
central waters and into Interior British Columbia in the afternoon.

Ahead of the low, gale to storm force southeasterlies will ease
through the morning. In its wake, gale to storm force northwesterlies
will ease slightly to strong to gale force and spread across central
waters.

Westerly gales will also develop through Juan de Fuca Strait this
afternoon through this evening.
