Over the years, there have been many horrific wars across the world. With the ongoing tragic situations, one could only dream of a world where there is abundant peace. But does such a world exist? Is there really any country that has never experienced war? Well, there is a place that has been almost entirely peaceful throughout its history.

The place has been free from war since its founding. San Marino had declared its neutrality earlier in the war and had broadly remained unaffected by the events in Europe.

The country escaped a long-term invasion because of its isolated location and political neutrality over time. Even the German army decided to leave it alone during the World War II.
